Capstone began its relationship with Plug Power in 1998 when the company had less than 50 employees and limited funding.  Capstone assisted in building Plug Power’s leadership team over the course of 10 years and completed over 50 key searches for the company.

Plug Power is recognized internationally as a market leader in the race to develop an economically viable fuel cell for commercial markets. Since its inception Plug Power, has experienced dramatic growth and pioneered the development of the first fuel cell for premium power and power back up. The company is now a leader in the mobile solutions market.

Capstone began partnering with XOS in 1996 when sales were less than $1 million and the company had 10 employees. Over the course of the relationship, XOS grew to be a dominate worldwide player in the development and manufacture of mission-critical materials-analysis equipment for industries and regulators with over 100 employees in both the United States and China. The company was recently purchased by Danaher Corporation. Capstone completed 17 searches critical to the growth of the company in addition to providing compensation analysis, organizational assessments, and management training.

MapInfo Corporation was a pre-IPO software company with less than $20 million in sales when Capstone forged a relationship with the company.  Over the course of our partnership, Mapinfo grew from 100 to over 1000 employees worldwide with sales in excess of $400 million and established a worldwide leadership position in location-based technology solutions and services. Capstone completed over 65 searches for the company in that time frame.  The company was acquired by Pitney Bowes at the peak of their growth.
